In the last couple of hours, Sheikh Salah El-Din El-Tijani has become a trending topic on social media. This follows the controversy sparked by Khadija Khaled, who accused El-Tijani of harassing her during her childhood. She revealed that he sent her messages containing explicit images and sexual comments through a messaging app. According to her, El-Tijani later apologized, claiming the image was sent by mistake.

In response, the Tijaniyya Order in Egypt issued a statement disavowing Sheikh Salah Al-Din Al-Tijani. Additionally, the Women’s Rights Issues Foundation announced on Monday evening that it had received complaints from three other young women accusing the same sheikh of sexual and electronic harassment.

They have requested legal support and immediate intervention to protect them from ongoing threats from Al-Tijani and his followers. Sheikh Salah Al-Din Al-Tijani, who claims to be the Sheikh of the Tijaniyya Order, stated that he plans to file a report against Khadija for her allegations.

In a previous television interview, Al-Tijani discussed his relationships with many artists, including Somia El-Khashab, Ahmed Saad, the late Nour El-Sherif, Boussy, Soheir El-Babli, Saeed Saleh, Nashwa Moustafa, Hagag Abdelazim and Shadia.

The situation continues to develop as more details emerge about his connections with artists and screenwriters, including Omar Taher and Abdelrehim Kamal.

People are shocked and blame these well-known figures, who maintain a good relationship with him, for two reasons. First, they follow Al Tijanyya despite being expected to be well-educated. The second reason is that, although there are new harassment claims and complaints, they remain silent and have not expressed their opinions regarding the incident.
