Power Outage Schedule For Cairo Announced

Following the temporary halt during the holy month of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr which lasted for 37 days, the Governorate of Cairo has released the updated schedule for power outages in different neighborhoods and districts.

Each district in the capital will experience daily power cuts lasting up to two hours.

Zamalek, Maadi & Down Town Cairo:

Power outages in Zamalek, Maadi, Mokattam, Down Town Cairo, and Helwan are set to be from 2 PM until 4 PM.

For 6th October and Sheikh Zayed Residents:

The new power reductions are scheduled to start from 11 AM to 5 PM: The power will be cut off for two and a quarter hours for each area, distributed throughout the day, with some places excluded, including (hospitals – police stations – ports – international airports – Water and sewage plants).
