The Scam Against Sobhi Kaber

The reason behind the sale of Sobhi Kaber’s restaurant is that he fell victim to a scam. Some individuals offered him a deal to purchase corn, claiming that its price would significantly increase due to the upcoming war between Russia and Ukraine. They asserted that before the war, the price was three Egyptian pounds per kilo, but it would soon rise sharply.

After raising 200 million pounds, he ended up receiving nothing from the corn deal, only a sample that contained cement. He announced the sale of the restaurant last January and managed to pay off all his debts due to this scam. He confirmed that he did not sell the brand name or the restaurant’s Facebook page.

The New Owner of Sobhi Kaber Restaurant Reveals Controversial Deal Details

The new owner of Sobhi Kaber restaurant, Hisham Al-Imam, shared the details of the controversial deal in a live broadcast. He stated that Sobhi Kaber informed him that he is 57 years old and wishes to sell the restaurant because he can no longer manage it and wants to spend time with his children.

Sobhi requested that Hisham buy the restaurant along with the brand name to ensure that the restaurant’s name continues to thrive. He emphasized that since purchasing the restaurant, Sobhi Kaber has been managing it himself.
