Temple of Dendra to finally open for visitors!

The Temple of Dendra has been undergoing restoration for a long while now, and now, the Supreme Council of Antiquities has finally announced the opening date of the beautiful temple.

The temple of Dendra was built during the Greco-Roman era, and its construction lasted 200 on the hand of king King Ptolemy III.

The temple was built using sandstone. Dendra was built to worship the goddess of Love, Beauty, and Family Hathor.

Its characterized by its unique architecture, inscription, and golden statues.

The temple is considered to be one of the most glorious architectural masterpieces in the world.

 

The council announced that it will allow visitors starting in June and the ticket the price will be EGP 100 for foreigners and EGP 50 for students and Egyptians.
