The Cairo Criminal Court, led by Judge Yasser Al-Ahmadawi, decided to refer the case of Kareem Mohamed, known as the “Safah El Tagamoa,” to the Grand Mufti for an opinion on his execution.
The court has set the final verdict for September 2.
Kareem is accused of murdering three women after engaging in immoral activities with them and disposing of their bodies in desert areas in Cairo, Ismailia, and Port Said.
On May 28, the Public Prosecution revealed details of the crimes committed by the criminal.

On May 16, they were notified about an unidentified woman’s body found on the “30th of June” road in Port Said. The prosecution immediately ordered fingerprint analysis and forensic photography to identify the victim.
Through investigations, the identity of the victim was confirmed via her fingerprint, revealing that she was married.
The security forces also identified the suspect, Kareem, who had met her, taken her to his apartment in the Al-Qatamiyah area, where they consumed drugs, and then murdered her. He later disposed of her body at the location where it was found.
The suspect was arrested, and during interrogation, he confessed to meeting several women, bringing them to his residence to engage in illegal activities, and then murdering them after consuming drugs. He also admitted to recording the incidents using two phones in his possession.
The police were able to locate the vehicle used to transport the body based on the suspect’s guidance.
