The Lovin Cairo Show: Nayera Ashraf’s Sister Faces Death Threats

Following the tragic death of Nayera Ashraf, also known as the ‘El-Mansoura girl,’ a similar horrifying scenario unfolded involving her sister, Shrouk Ashraf. The Giza security services arrested the accused who had threatened to kill Shrouk Ashraf if she refused to marry him. 

She filed a report accusing him of sending threatening messages to her father’s phone, in which he stated that he would end her life just like her sister Naira Ashraf. Investigations revealed that he was not an engineering student and did not live in Maadi, as he had claimed.

Moving on to controversial news, following Bayoumi Fouad’s first play in Riyadh Season, he will be traveling to Saudi Arabia to take part in a new play. His initial performance in Riyadh Season sparked controversy, as people questioned his participation during the Gaza war. 

Finally, General Osama Rabie, Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, reassured Egyptians about navigation in the Suez Canal, emphasizing that it has not been affected by any factors.

Lieutenant General Osama Rabie pointed out that, within a month, only 55 ships out of 2,128 had been diverted to other routes, which accounts for a small percentage. He continued, ‘We expect the tensions in Bab al-Mandab to resolve soon.’
