The Ministry Of Interior Opened Investigation Into The Murder Of Canadian Businessman In Alexandria
Yesterday, Egyptian social media was flooded with the news of the murder of a Canadian/Ukrainian businessman in Alexandria, Egypt.
Ziv Kipper, a dry fruit businessman was recently killed while driving back home from work by an unknown group titled “Vanguards of Liberation… Martyr Mohamed Salah Group”.
Kipper was shot 8 times in his car and died instantly.
In a statement, the group confirmed their responsibility for the man’s murder and claimed that his business was a front for gathering information and recruiting people for the Israeli Mossad.
Additionally, they also expressed: “The continuation of the genocide and the starvation policy against our brothers in Gaza will not only deteriorate the situation in Egypt, but it will plant the seed of hatred against Zionism everywhere.”
Ziv Kipper’s History:
Ziv had expressed blatant support for the zionist entity by posting “I Stand with Israel” on his Facebook account.
He is also thought to have obtained Israeli citizenship as Any Jew who immigrates to Israel as an Oleh (Jewish immigrant) under the Law of Return automatically becomes an Israeli citizen.
Authorities Response:
The Egyptian Ministry of Interior released a statement confirming the opening of an investigation into the incidents. Other news outlets have also reported that the Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs has opened an investigation into the matter and that they are looking into Kipper’s background.
