Buthaina Hisham was riding a microbus from the Sheraton Misr area heading to Abbasia in Cairo. However, the driver changed his route after all passengers had disembarked. In a similar incident reminiscent of the “Shorouk Girl” case involving Habiba El-Shemaa, an Egyptian girl threw herself off a bus after the driver attempted to abduct her, resulting in serious injuries.

Egyptian authorities received a report of a girl named Buthaina Hisham throwing herself from a microbus after the driver attempted to change his route and abduct her in the Shorouk area of Cairo.

Egyptian security forces are intensifying efforts to identify and arrest the driver.

It was revealed that the girl was riding a microbus from the Sheraton Misr area to Abbasia in Cairo. After discovering the driver’s attempt to change his route and abduct her after all passengers had disembarked, she threw herself from the bus, resulting in several different injuries and dislocating her shoulder.

Egyptian security forces are intensifying efforts to identify and arrest the driver.

The girl’s family stated that she informed them that while riding the microbus, she was surprised to see passengers disembark in the Gamal Abdel Nasser area, Al-Alf Maskan, and noticed the driver taking a different route, allegedly to shorten the time and distance. She found herself on the road to Shorouk and threw herself from the vehicle, suffering serious injuries.
