So here’s the story – a 33-year-old Egyptian architect named Islam tried to climb the Khafre Pyramid at the Giza Pyramids, and, of course, security caught him! When they asked him why, he explained that he was just trying to practice rock climbing and didn’t realize it was against the law. He even said, “I didn’t know it was forbidden!”
The whole thing came to light when the Giza security services got a report about the incident and quickly arrested him. After the necessary paperwork and questioning, the authorities decided to let him go, with no further action taken.

Interestingly, not too long ago, a foreign guy had filmed a video of a dog on top of the Great Pyramid – yes, a dog – barking at birds from the summit! The video went viral, and people started asking how the dog made it all the way up there (since it’s about 150 meters high), wondering how long it took and how the dog dealt with the strong winds. Definitely one of those “wait, what?!” moments!
