Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, announced that Mohamed Tarek El-Rashidi, a student from the Faculty of Computers and Information, won first place in the Esports World Cup for the game Clash Royale in Finland.
Mansoura University stated that the competition was held from October 26 to November 3, 2024, in Helsinki, Finland. Through his skills and determination, Mohamed achieved victory and earned a staggering prize of $200,00!
Mansoura University added that Mohamed was the only Egyptian and Arab student to qualify for the finals of this global competition. He won the cup after intense competition with seven other players from countries including the USA, Brazil, Japan, China, and Germany.
Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, emphasized the remarkable efforts of this outstanding student and the significant achievement of raising Egypt’s flag high in international competitions.
