Weather Warning.. Today May Be The Most Difficult 24 Hours In March

Avatar

Well, it looks like Mother Nature is feeling a bit moody today!

The weather department is warning of some rain and thunder in certain areas, so make sure you have your umbrella handy. And don’t forget to hold onto your hats because those winds are really going to be whipping around! But hey, at least it’ll be a good day to stay inside with a cup of hot cocoa and watch the raindrops fall.

Warning! Bad weather ahead

the meteorological department has issued a warning that Sinai and the Red Sea Governorate are in for a peak of weather fluctuations. It is expected that there will be moderate to heavy rain today, sometimes reaching the point of flooding, and occasionally accompanied by thunder in areas such as Taba, Nuweiba, Dahab, Sharm El Sheikh, Rafah, El Arish, Saint Catherine, El Tor, Al Ghurqa, El Za’afarana, Ras Sedr, Ras Gharib, Marsa Alam, and El Quseir.

Weather maps have shown that there will continue to be opportunities for moderate rainfall in areas of the northwestern coasts, the northern face of the sea, the Canal cities, and the north and middle of Upper Egypt, with some areas hearing thunder.

It’s also getting windy

Meteorological experts predict that rainfall in Greater Cairo and the southern face of the sea will be light to moderate, with winds picking up across all areas and causing sand and dust storms in the south of Upper Egypt.

The meteorological department has warned of increased wind activity, which will make the weather feel colder.

Winds will also be active over the surface of the Red Sea, causing disruption to maritime navigation and waves of up to 3.5 meters high.
