Ramy Sabry Dives into the Rap Scene Debate

Ramy Sabry recently appeared on the popular show ‘Hebr Sery’, where he shared his opinion about Egypt’s thriving rap scene. While acknowledging its growth, he admitted to struggling with understanding rap lyrics, suggesting it’s not exactly his cup of tea.

Naturally, this didn’t sit well with rap enthusiasts—or Wegz, for that matter. Oh, but Ramy wasn’t done! When asked to name the top five artists in Egypt, he confidently placed himself in the ranks of Amr Diab, Tamer Hosny, and Hamaki.

Wegz Fires Back

In true rap-star fashion, Wegz wasn’t about to let these comments slide. Just hours after the episode aired, he clapped back with some fiery words, advising Ramy Sabry to “stick to his own lane” and focus on his genre.

But the gloves really came off when Wegz addressed Ramy’s self-proclaimed top-tier status. According to Wegz, Ramy Sabry doesn’t even crack the top five—in fact, he suggested Ramy might land closer to number 19!

Fans Take Sides

As with any celebrity feud, fans and music lovers have quickly divided into Team Ramy and Team Wegz.

  • Team Ramy: Some fans are defending Ramy Sabry, arguing that his comments were simply his honest opinion, not an intentional jab at the rap scene. After all, personal taste in music is subjective, right?
  • Team Wegz: Others are standing firmly behind Wegz, applauding his quick-witted response and highlighting the undeniable rise of rap as a dominant genre in Egypt.

But whether you’re a fan of rap, pop, or somewhere in between, one thing’s for sure: this feud had everyone talking!
