Yasser And Aya’s Plane Selfie Went Bad… Ahmed Shiba’s Son Almost Filed A Lawsuit Against Them After This Photo

Malak Nazir

Yasser and Aya, the popular blogger couple, are no strangers to sharing glimpses of their life with their followers. From cute couple moments to travel vlogs, they’ve built a loyal fanbase around their wholesome content. But this time, a seemingly innocent plane selfie stirred up more drama than anyone expected—especially for a certain Ahmed Shiba.

The selfie that started it all

The couple was flying to Doha when they decided to take a casual mid-flight selfie. Nothing out of the ordinary, right? Well, almost. When the photo was posted online, eagle-eyed followers noticed something more than just smiles and airplane seats in the background. None other than Ahmed Shiba—yes, the singer Ahmed Shiba—was peacefully asleep in his seat behind them, entirely unaware of his cameo in the bloggers’ post.

What could have been a harmless photobomb quickly took a turn when Shiba’s son saw the photo and wasn’t too thrilled about it. He appeared in a video saying that he intended to file a lawsuit against the couple, accusing them of violating his father’s privacy by photographing him without permission.

How are people reacting to this?

Social media quickly erupted into a debate. Some believed Yasser and Aya had to have noticed Shiba sleeping behind them and shared the photo knowing full well what they were doing. After all, it’s not every day that you catch a celebrity in an unplanned nap! But others rushed to the couple’s defense, suggesting it was all an innocent mistake—just a selfie gone wrong with a side of accidental photobombing.

Yasser reached out to Ahmed Shiba’s son

Yasser, realizing the situation was escalating, promptly posted a story on social media, apologizing to Ahmed Shiba. He explained that neither he nor Aya had noticed Shiba in the background and that the singer’s presence was purely accidental. To clear the air even further, Yasser reached out to Shiba’s son personally, confirming the mishap was unintentional. Thankfully, after the conversation, Shiba’s son decided to drop any legal action, accepting that it was all just a harmless slip-up.
