A Hub for Entrepreneurs: RiseUp Summit 2025 Sparked Innovation!

The 12th edition of the RiseUp Summit kicked off at the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, and partners for three days of inspiration and innovation.

This year’s event, which took place from May 9 to May 10, was all about empowering entrepreneurs and fostering collaboration across Egypt and the MENA region. Held under the guidance of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and several key ministries, the summit continues to grow as one of the top platforms for entrepreneurial development.

The Power of Collaboration: Major Partners and Sponsors

RiseUp Summit 2025 would not have been possible without the backing of influential partners and sponsors dedicated to fostering innovation and supporting sustainable growth.

Madinet Masr, the Growth Partner for the summit, was committed to smart communities and promoting sustainable solutions, which is helping shape Egypt’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Orange Business, as the Official Innovation Partner, showed off technologies like AI and cloud computing to help startups grow in the digital world.

TikTok LIVE, the Official Digital Partner, gave startups the chance to reach wider audiences and tell their stories in creative ways, while Mastercard offered valuable financial tools to help businesses scale. Other great contributors include the Agora Naguib Sawiris School of Business, Parkville, N GAGE Consulting, and Paymob.

“Tell Your Story” – The Heart of the Summit

This year’s theme, “Tell Your Story,” was all about encouraging entrepreneurs to share their experiences—both the wins and the struggles. The summit offered a mix of workshops, panels, and networking opportunities to inspire new ideas, collaboration, and personal growth.

Abdelhameed Sharara, Founder and CEO of RiseUp, emphasized the summit’s role in connecting startups with investors and partners, giving them the tools they need to reach new heights.

The Role of Egypt’s Rich Heritage in Driving Innovation

For the third year in a row, the Grand Egyptian Museum served as the rich heritage venue, blending Egypt’s deep cultural history with modern entrepreneurial ideas.

Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, CEO of the museum, expressed how the event symbolized the perfect balance between Egypt’s past and its forward-looking future. Merette Elsayed, CEO of Legacy, also pointed out how the collaboration between culture and entrepreneurship inspired innovators across the MENA region.

A Hub of Global Minds

With technology being the future of everything, RiseUp Summit 2025 served as a hub for learning about emerging trends, new tech, and global market opportunities. In addition to being the future of sustainability for startups to meet potential investors, build relationships, and find new ways to scale their businesses.
