Banks

Bank employees will work from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, while customers can be received between 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM. Keep these timings in mind for any banking needs.

Metro

The metro starts early with first trains at 5:15 AM, while the last trains run between 12:00 AM and 12:40 AM, depending on the line. The last interchanges occur between 12:15 AM and 1:00 AM, and peak evening trains run every 4.5 minutes, making it convenient for night travelers.

Light Rail Transit (LRT)

The LRT operates from around 6:00–6:04 AM until 11:15 PM, depending on the line. Morning direct trains depart at 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM, while evening peak trains run every 8 minutes.

Bus Rapid Transit (BRT)

BRT services start at 6:00 AM and run until 12:00 AM, providing easy access across the city throughout the day.

Working Hours

Public sector offices operate from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, while private sector businesses typically reduce hours to around 6–7 hours during Ramadan.

Shops, Restaurants, and Cafés

Most malls, restaurants, cafés, and bazaars close at 2:00 AM, though takeaway and delivery services remain 24/7. Essential services like fruit and vegetable shops, poultry and wholesale markets, grocery stores, bakeries, supermarkets, and pharmacies are exempt from the 2:00 AM rule, staying open to meet residents’ needs.

Planning your day around these adjusted schedules will help you enjoy Ramadan without interruptions. Whether you’re commuting, shopping, or heading out for iftar, knowing the timing of banks, transport, and essential services ensures a smooth and stress-free month.
