The airline described the scene as “inappropriate”, saying it undermines the professional image of its flight attendants and harms the reputation of EgyptAir, one of the oldest airlines in the Middle East and Africa. EgyptAir also emphasized that it reserves the right to take legal action against any unauthorized use of its uniforms or registered trademark.

The reaction online was mixed:

  • Some viewers felt that a character wearing a uniform in a movie doesn’t reflect on the company’s reputation.
  • Others supported EgyptAir, saying the airline was right to protect its image and the credibility of its staff.

The timing of the controversy also raised questions. The film isn’t new, so many people wandered why they released it now. However, scene recently became more visible after appearing on a digital streaming platform, sparking renewed debate.

Social media quickly filled with comments, with some people questioning the choice of scene and others applauding EgyptAir’s stance. The discussion has made the story a trending topic online.
