It Started with a Clinic Visit

Rahma sought help for her already weak, thinning hair at a well-known clinic in Zamalek. After running blood tests, the clinic assured her that everything looked fine and recommended a simple treatment.

But things didn’t go as planned.

Instead of the discussed procedure, she says the doctor gave her a mix of supplements — without her consent.

Among them was Minoxidil, a clinically approved drug for hair growth. She only learned about the inclusion of the drug when it appeared on her bill.

Unexpected Side Effects — and Hair Loss Gets Worse

Following the visit, Rahma began experiencing alarming symptoms. Her heart would race, her head felt heavy, and her hair started falling out at a much faster rate. New hair barely grew back.

Feeling both physically and emotionally drained, Rahma posted a close-up photo of her visibly thinning hair and shared her story publicly.

Speaking Out — and Refusing to Stay Silent

In her post, she made it clear: if any product or place harms her again, she won’t keep quiet. No more letting it go.

Many sympathized with her experience, encouraging her to take legal action.

Others, however, questioned whether the drug could be solely to blame.
