The government clarified that the holiday aims to ease movement across Greater Cairo and ensure smooth coordination for all participating entities during this historic celebration.

However, the November 1st opening is exclusive to official guests, while the public opening is scheduled for Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

As of now, the holiday applies to the public sector only, pending any announcement from the Ministry of Manpower regarding its extension to private-sector employees.
