Shereen Abdel Wahab’s long-time legal advisor, Yasser Kantoush, has officially stepped down, igniting a storm of speculation and controversy. After years of representing the singer through her legal and personal challenges, Kantoush announced his resignation while revealing troubling details about her current situation.
In his statement, Kantoush implied that Shereen may have rekindled her relationship with her ex-husband, Hossam Habib. Without naming him directly, he accused “a certain person” of making Shereen’s life “hell” and urged both the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Health to intervene to protect her wellbeing.
The comments immediately fueled widespread rumors of a reunion between the former couple.
In response, Hossam Habib firmly denied the claims. Speaking on ET Bel Arabi, he said:
“There’s no going back — it’s all just rumors. I will also be suing this lawyer.”
Meanwhile, Shereen herself issued a statement distancing from Kantoush, confirming that he no longer represents her and warning him against making any further statements on her behalf or about her personal life.
The heated exchange has left fans divided, with many expressing concern for the star’s wellbeing while others speculate about the true nature of her relationship with Habib.
