U.S. Calls On Americans To Leave Over 14 MENA Countries Including Egypt

The U.S. Department of State has urged American citizens to immediately depart more than 14 countries across the Middle East and North Africa region — including Egypt — amid escalating regional tensions. The advisory follows rising tensions linked to the Israeli-Iranian conflict, with U.S. officials advising citizens to leave using available commercial transportation due to potential safety risks.

The directive applies to the following countries:

  • Bahrain
  • Egypt
  • Iran
  • Iraq
  • Palestine
  • Jordan
  • Kuwait
  • Lebanon
  • Oman
  • Qatar
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Syria
  • United Arab Emirates
  • Yemen

The advisory applies broadly across the Middle East, including countries directly affected by the Israeli-Iranian conflict as well as others not involved.

Egypt’s Stance And Reassurance

Earliear, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi delivered a message of reassurance, expressing confidence in Egypt’s security and emphasizing that there is no need for concern amid ongoing regional developments.

He also clearly discussed Egypt’s stance, condemning violations of Arab countries’ sovereignty, reaffirming Egypt’s full support for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and stressing the importance of protecting regional stability.
