that<\/span> foreigners applying <span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">for visas,<\/span><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\"> tourism or nontourism purposes <\/span><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">must submit a receipt showing they have transferred<\/span><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\"> the residence fee <\/span><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">from foreign\u00a0currency to the Egyptian pound,<\/span><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\"> from one of the approved banks or exchange companies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Additionally, foreigners residing in the country illegally must also legalize their residence, according to the decision, so long as they have a host of Egyptian nationality, within three months from the date of this decision.<\/p>\n<p>This is done in exchange for payment of
