News over <\/span>power outage<\/span> has left people in <\/span>a state of frustration, and defeat<\/span> over their ruined home appliances and daily life.<\/span><\/p>\n

Power outages first began in Egypt in July 2023, after egypt was hit with one of its history’s harshest heatwaves. Due to the crippling economic situation in Egypt, the government first introduced Power Reduction Initiative.<\/a><\/p>\n

The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers had added that the reasons for the power outage in Egypt are due to higher than normal temperatures compared to previous years, in addition to the increase in gas consumption in Egypt, which rose by 18% compared to 2022.<\/p>\n

Since the introduction of the initiative in 2023, multiple fatal incidents have taken place, causing Egyptians to express their frustration and disappointment.<\/p>\n

Power Reduction Initiative to End by the end of 2024<\/h2>\n

Doctor, Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, said that by the end of this year, the plan to reduce electrical loads undertaken by the government in recent periods will be completed, pointing out that the problem lies in fuel management.<\/p>\n

Madbouly added, during the press conference he held today, that there is no power generation or transportation crisis in Egypt, pointing out that the crisis is in fuel procurement.<\/p>\n
