Popular blogger Heba El-Sayed, the face behind the “Um Ziyad Waheba”<\/a> channel, has been sentenced to 7 years in prison and fined 200,000 Egyptian pounds. Meanwhile, her son, Mohamed Hamdi, received a 10-year prison sentence and the same fine in absentia. Furthermore, her second husband, Hassan Sameer, was handed a life imprisonment sentence and fined 500,000 Egyptian pounds in absentia.<\/p>\n

The investigations revealed that both the accused and her son exploited their children’s presence in videos they recorded and shared on their social media channels to increase views and generate profits.<\/p>\n
