Lion, 10 Dogs, and 25 Cats Found in Villa in Maadi<\/span><\/h2>\n

Authorities found an unusual assortment of animals in Maadi\u2014an 11-month-old lion, 10 dogs, including some ferocious breeds, and 25 cats\u2014inside a villa.<\/span><\/p>\n

The incident began when a police officer noticed a lion perched atop a villa wall while a security patrol was inspecting the area. The sighting was also captured in a video circulating on social media, which prompted immediate action.<\/span><\/p>\n

Upon investigation, authorities confirmed that the villa housed an unlicensed lion and 10 licensed dogs. They identified the villa’s owner as a well-known 55-year-old businessman who operates a tourist village and is known for raising exotic animals.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Documents for the lion revealed that it was 11 months old, with a birth certificate and up-to-date vaccinations. Alongside it, the villa contained 10 dogs of various breeds and 25 cats.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Wildlife Department of the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture moved the lion because private ownership is prohibited.
