Sandstorm Season Is Back: Get Ready for a Windy Midweek in Egypt!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve got outdoor plans this Wednesday, it might be time to rethink them \u2014 the weather\u2019s about to get wild. \ud83c\udf2c\ufe0f<\/p>\n

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority has issued a heads-up for the next 48 hours: expect strong winds loaded with dust and sand, potentially turning into full-on sandstorms in some areas. Yes, it\u2019s officially \u201chold onto your hat\u201d weather.<\/p>\n

Blame it on a khamaseen depression blowing in from the Sahara, kicking up winds at speeds between 65 to 90 km\/h \u2014 enough to cause serious chaos, especially along the Mediterranean coast, where maritime activities may face disruption. And as if that\u2019s not enough drama, some parts of the north may even get a splash of thunder and rain.<\/p>\n
