Mohamed Alabbar, the Emirati businessman and founder of Emaar<\/strong> and Eagle Hills<\/strong>, recently shared some heartwarming thoughts about Egypt and its people. Speaking at the Billion Followers Summit 2026<\/strong>, Alabbar didn\u2019t hold back: \u201cI love Egypt. The Egyptian people are amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n

He reflected on his experiences traveling to Europe, where even simple things like entering a hotel can feel complicated. \u201cWe speak a Middle Eastern language, and suddenly immigration officers ask so many questions: Where are you from? How long will you stay? Why are you here?<\/em>\u201d he explained. \u201cI\u2019ll spend around \u00a31,500 at your hotel, pay VAT and other taxes\u2026 and still have to answer all these questions. Will you let me in?\u201d<\/p>\n
