The rule breaker faces a substantial penalty of up to 30 million Saudi riyals and 10 years in prison, or either of these penalties, under Saudi wildlife protection laws

 

The endangered animals involved in the incident were transferred to the National Wildlife Center in Riyadh, where they will receive the specialized care they need.

The National Center for Wildlife Development emphasizes that community cooperation in reporting wildlife violations is crucial for preserving the natural environment and protecting its resources.

The center monitors and addresses violations related to the possession and display of predatory animals, asserting that it will rigorously enforce regulations against offenders. It highlighted that owning and breeding these animals violates environmental laws and their executive regulations.
