Also known as SPARK, the King Salman Energy Park once completed will become a global hub for energy-related manufacturing services in line with Vision 2030. This is one of the country’s most ambitious projects and here’s everything that you need to know about it.

The project was launched back in September 2017 and the first phase is expected to be completed by 2021.

The completion date for the whole project as of now is set at 2035, which is due to be completed in 3 phases.

SPARK will span an area of a whopping 50 square kilometers.

The Energy Park is being built in the Eastern part of the country between Dammam and Al Ahsa and will create thousands of jobs.
