If you loved Planet Earth, then you’re going to love the Saudi version of it. The new documentary film Horizon just dropped on Netflix, and it presents Saudi Arabia’s natural side in all its glory. The film currently has a 7.2 rating on IMDb.

The Ministry of Media’s Center for Government Communication and the National Center for Wildlife teamed up to put this together, showcasing the Kingdom’s diverse habitats and the efforts to protect endangered species.

The Konoz Initiative, the group behind the documentary, is all about highlighting Saudi culture and success stories. For “Horizon,” they pulled in a team of 50 top-notch filmmakers who travelled to 28 different locations (most in the southwest of the country) to capture the beauty of the country, from snowy peaks to mangrove forests!

The film was shot in a span of 14 months!
