A Portrait Of The Crown Prince Made Using Honeybees Has Become A Major Draw In Al Baha

Avatar

The Al-Baha region is known to be home to some of the country’s most prized kinds of honey with small bottles at times costing staggering amounts. The region is currently hosting the 14th edition of its annual honey festival that celebrates the region’s honey but the star attraction here is a portrait of the Crown Prince that almost everyone is queueing up to take a selfie with.

Instead of drawing the facial hair the artists that created this painting chose to replace them with honeybees.

Several artists got together to come up with this portrait that uses 1,680 bees.

The 3-metre long portrait took 18 days to make.
