A Saudi Man Attended The Graduation Ceremony On Behalf His Wife Who Died Just Days Before

In the recent graduation ceremony of the University College of Bahrain, a man who didn’t study at the college went up to the dais to receive a degree. The degree wasn’t his, it was his late wife’s, who passed away days before the ceremony.

Her husband, who spoke to Al Arabiya News later, broke down her story of how she’d always wanted to complete her studies and the fact that she submitted her thesis while she was ill.

He also revealed that he broke the news to his wife about her graduation while she was on her death bed. Unfortunately, she did not live to see the day.

He tweeted a video and photos from the graduation ceremony. He writes in his tweet that “…she was a wonderful mother, a good wife, and a sincere teacher.”
