Come June 1, Saudis can just book a flight to Singapore on Google and head straight for the airport, as Singapore has just exempted Saudi citizens from entry visa requirements.
The Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) has issued the following statement:
*IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR SAUDI NATIONALS:*
Saudi nationals with passports issued by the KSA will no longer need to apply for an entry visa to enter Singapore from 1 June 2023 (inclusive).
— Singapore Embassy in Riyadh (@SingaporeEmbKSA) April 28, 2023
However, there’s a catch—the embassy has announced on its Twitter handle that all those who have paid for their visa processing fees prior to the announcement will not be eligible for a refund.
As per the online portal Visa Index, the Saudi passport currently provides visa-free access to 81 countries.
