According a report in CNN Portugal, Manchester United has been offered an opening bid by an unnamed Saudi club for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo. This deal could see Ronaldo earning close to a staggered $125 million for each season. The two-year contract could see him taking home close to $250 million.

Not only that, but Man Utd is also reportedly being offered upwards of $35 million as a transfer fee. That’s even higher than what United paid Juventus to sign Ronaldo on.

It doesn’t end here, the Saudi club is also offering close to $24 million as agent fees as well.
The rumour mill has been abuzz with reports of the Portuguese forward looking to leave Old Trafford, especially seeing that the Man Utd didn’t even qualify for the Champions League.

Several European clubs are also reportedly looking to bid for Ronaldo including the likes of Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Napoli. These clubs will probably have a tough time matching the Saudi club’s offer.

Needless to say, football fans were super thrilled with the news.
