Eid Al-Adha is a significant religious festival celebrated by Muslims around the world, and it’s a joyous occasion that holds great cultural importance.

In Sharqiyah, like the rest of Saudi Arabia, the festivities begin with the sighting of the new moon. The day starts with a special prayer known as the Eid prayer, performed in large congregations at mosques or designated prayer grounds. People dress in their finest clothes, and it is customary for families to attend these prayers together.

After that, people join activities and fun celebrations with their families and loved ones, including fun parks, activities held by municipalities and cultural centers, cafes with board games, and more.
