One Of The Most Sought-After Travel Destinations In The Kingdom Welcomed Its First-Ever International Flight

With tourism playing such a key role in Vision 2030 it was about time that AlUla, which is turning into one of the biggest attractions in the kingdom starts getting international tourists directly. Earlier, tourists would have to arrive at one of the international airports in the country and then take a domestic flight to AlUla, but not anymore.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the Dubai International Airport where a Flynas flight took off from carrying passengers, press and social media influencers.

The Saudi Consul General Abdullah bin Mansoor Al Mutawah, among a number of senior officials and dignitaries, attended the ribbon-cutting event in Dubai.

The flight was given a water cannon salute upon arrival.
