Watch: The Driest Place In Saudi Becomes Home To A River

Avatar

The Rub’ al-Khali desert is one of the driest places in the world. The recent torrential rains that engulfed the country did not spare the Rub’ al-Khali desert–that’s the largest sand desert in the world, by the way.

The sporadic rains gave the place a running river for a while that looked absolutely amazing.

Talk about global warming causing weird things. David Attenborough you seeing this?
