The weather’s finally getting better; winds are being felt and raining has already taken place in different parts of the Kingdom. With the much-anticipated arrival of the cooler weather leaves us with a choice for switching up the ‘dining out’ routine, like the outdoors.
We’ve asked our Lovin’ readers to weigh in on their favourite outdoor restaurants and cafés on Instagram, and today we’ll share some of those with the rest of you.
Known for their iced Spanish lattés is this gem of a spot called the Villa Café. Students and employees love passing by this spot, located in Salah Al Deen, to catch a break through consuming coffee or to bask in its calming atmosphere.

Thank the heavens for the beautiful outdoor views that come with this French restaurant.
How about a stunning morning breakfast and a make-pretend ‘we’re in Paris’ moment?
Location: Centria Mall, Olaya St (Tahlia St)
Don’t be fooled by its name, for this café also serves up the most exciting dishes, such as their chicken fussili pasta and ravishing desert options.
Not to mention their outdoor seating is exquisite.
Location: Olaya St. (Thalia St)
Quintessentially Lounge, better known by Jeddawis as Q-Lounge, takes outdoor seating to the next level.
Their signature table and chair designs are known by a lot of residents, of whom enjoy a good shisha session here and there.
Location: Diner Square, King Abdulaziz Road
Khamseena (as it’s pronounced) Café is another favorite coffee shop/ hookah spot and restaurant by the locals. Though it’s simpler than most, its outdoor seating is a great place to watch sports games with friends.

This Lebanese restaurant has that outdoor appeal without being a fully open-air type of establishment. If you want to try something new, dining here is never a bad option.
Shababik has their in-house musicians who perform some of the Arab world’s greatest hits, as you dine and enjoy with family or friends.
P.S. Children under the age of 8 aren’t allowed here after 7p.m. and there’s a semi-formal dress code that asks everyone not to come in shorts or t-shirts.

Blue Garden is definitely does NOT put shame to its name. If you look through this restaurant’s Instagram account, you’ll immediately see why it’s such a SPECIAL go-to for Khobarians in the city.
The sound of the birds, the vibes at night and the exceptional service are just one of few reasons why dining here will make you feel like you’re on vacay.

Worth noting that the indoors of Naia Lounge’s outdoors serves Lebanese food and indoors is mostly Asian cuisine. It’s got quite the romantic atmosphere too.

Reasonable prices, great food and an ambiance that tops no other. You can’t really go wrong choosing a spot at Prince Turki Street in Khobar anyway.
