For long Saudi Arabia had its doors open only to religious pilgrims, relatives of residents and business travelers. But now things are changing for the better. With Saudi Arabia launching a “sports” visa just about a month ago just in time for the Ad Diriyah E Prix, news has just come in of a new kind of e-visa.
According to online portal Schengen Visa Info, nationals of the 26 Schengen countries along with USA, Australia, Japan, South Korea, South Africa, Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei will be eligible for this visa.
This visa can prove to be a game changer for Saudi and probably make it a tourist hotspot in the region. After all, the country is home to diverse natural landscapes, rich history and has no shortage of amazing hotels to stay at.
