The authorities have finally spilled the beans on it, and it\u2019s unlike any other theme park in the world.<\/p>\n<p>It is going to be located off the eastern coast of Saudi Arabia, about 40km from the shore, near Al Juraid Island and the Berri oilfield. It&#8217;s like an offshore adventure paradise, twice the size of what they first hinted at back in October 2021, covering a whopping 30 hectares.<br \/>\nNow, what&#8217;s the deal with The Rig? Well, it&#8217;s not your average theme park. It&#8217;s inspired by offshore oil platforms, and the whole shebang is meant to pay homage to Saudi Arabia&#8217;s rich oil and gas history. How cool is that?<\/p>\n<p>Plus, there&#8217;s not just one, not two, but three hotels in the works at The Rig, boasting a grand total of 800 rooms. And that&#8217;s just the beginning.<\/p>\n<h2>You&#8217;ve got 11 restaurants serving up goodness, a marina, helipads (yes, you read that right), and an extreme sports and adventure park.
