There’s no real limitation to what the human mind can do if it sets its sights on something. See, if you think you want a burger bad enough, you might start to taste it. If you remember a smell vividly enough, you can actually sniff it!

And if you decide you want to be born a thousand miles in the air mid-Qatar Airways flight, well, you’ll be there!

Was the last example too specific? If so, it’s because it really happened just this week! During a Nigerian couple’s flight from Lagos to Brazil, the mother gave birth to a baby girl mid-flight, with the help of Qatar Airways’ excellent crew, taking the phrase ‘come rain or shine’ to a whole new level.

The mother and the baby are both in good health, but the birth sure sparked a billion jokes about how this baby girl would get to fly free for life. However, some people decided to rain on the couple’s parade by calling them (AND the crew) irresponsible. Yes, really — it turns out some people just can’t help but be grinches!
