Spotted At HIA: This Qatari Man Walking Through With Four Falcons …Just Another Day in Doha!

Only in Doha can you spot a man in a crisp white thobe, gliding through Hamad International Airport with not one, but four majestic falcons hitching a ride on his suitcase. Forget travel pillows! This guy’s got feathered VIPs! The scene, captured by Ahmad Darwesh and shared on TikTok (@darwesh.90), is just another day in Qatar’s capital, where even airport strolls can turn into a spectacle.

Qatar’s finest traveling companions

Decked out in traditional Qatari style, the man coolly wheeled his blue carry-on, complete with a custom wooden perch for his falcon friends. The birds, calm and collected, looked like seasoned travelers, each tethered and ready for takeoff. In his left hand? Just a casual drink because why not stay refreshed while escorting your squad of raptors through the terminal?

Meanwhile, in the background, airport life buzzed on as usual. Another traveler pushed a mountain of luggage carts, but all eyes were on the falcon parade. A small inset even caught a bystander’s wide-eyed reaction because, let’s be honest, it’s not every day you see four falcons at the airport, unless you’re in Doha!

A cultural dazzling icon

In Qatar, falcons aren’t just birds, they’re part of the culture, and seeing them travel in style is a reminder that some traditions soar high above the rest. So next time you’re at HIA, keep your eyes peeled. You never know when you’ll spot a flock of falcons catching their next flight!
