Get ready for an amazing ocean adventure! Qatar Tourism has announced the return of its popular whale shark watching tours. This year’s season will run from June through September 2025, inviting everyone to witness these incredible creatures.

Past Journeys Saw Gentle Giants

Since launching in 2022, the tour has already hosted over 1,200 visitors. On just one trip, explorers spotted more than 600 whale sharks! It’s a truly spectacular sight.

Where The Giants Gather

The tours take guests to the Al Shaheen Marine Zone, located about two and a half hours from Ruwais Port. This area features warm waters filled with plankton, which attract the massive whale sharks. Some of these creatures can grow up to 20 feet long as they come to feed.
