4 Events You Can Head To In Doha That Support Palestine

Here are some of the upcoming  Doha events in solidarity with Palestine and the people of Gaza.

4. Stand With Palestine Charity Match

It is an initiative launched by Qatar Academy Doha students with the aim of involving the local community in events and activities in solidarity with the people of Palestine.

The event will also feature a football match, a range of pre-match activities, music performances by artists Nasser Al Kubaisi, Dana Al Meer, Nesma Emad, and Hala Al Emadi, who will perform the songs ‘Palestine Arabiye’ and ‘Mawtini’ (My Homeland), and a drone show.

The proceeds from the event’s ticket sales will be donated to support emergency relief for Palestine.

3. A Special Market Day “Locals for Palestine”

You could celebrate Qatar National Day to share and showcase Palestinian culture as a form of resistance. A day of solidarity featuring artisanal Palestinian and local foods, products, workshops, spoken word poetry, live music, dabke dancing, and fundraising.

2. Palestine: A Journey Through Time Book Display

The rare book area of the Museum of Islamic (MIA) library opens its doors to present a rare collection displaying exceptional highlights of Palestine’s history. This open display aims to show solidarity for Palestine in its ongoing conflict, as well as to provide a pleasant place for the public to glance at Palestine’s history and beauty.
