3. 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum

The largest museum of its kind in the world! For the true sport fanatic – If you’re into the value and positive impact of sports, its origins, development, and culture in Qatar and beyond – this museum is for you.

What? 7 galleries, with sections relating to the Olympics and its history, the World Cup and even the evolvement of the sports scene in the country.

Where? Khalifa International Stadium, Aspire Zone

When? Saturday-Thursday: 9am-7pm | Friday: 1.30pm-7pm.

How much? QAR100 for adults and kids under 16 go free!

2. National Museum of Qatar

A desert rose in architectural form! It’s hard to miss this stunning work of art while driving along the corniche, but what you truly cannot miss is what the interior has in store for you to explore!

What? The National Museum of Qatar gives you a comprehensive overview of the country’s rich history, geology and all the way to desert living. The center of the museum also holds a surprise – as it was home to Sheikh Abdullah bin Jassim Al Thani’s original palace, which has been restored.

With more than 9,000 pieces of art, this museum houses the world’s largest specialized collection of its kind.

What? This museum is home to a world-class collection of modern and contemporary art from the Arab world and its cultural and historical connections.
