BREAKING: Careem Will No Longer Be Operational In Qatar From Today
During the World Cup Qatar 2022, Careem vehicles began their operation in the country as an official method of transportation for fans, alongside Uber and Karwa local taxis.
After a couple of months of operation, Careem made quite a shocking announcement on the night of February 27.
Uber is ceasing operations in Qatar from today
Uber sent a message to its customers in the country:
“Unfortunately, Careem’s ride hailing operations will no longer operate in Qatar as of February 28, 2023,” and anyone with Careem credit will get their refund by March 15.
The company did not offer an explanation why it will cease operations but they will be missed for sure!
