New metro hours = More flexibility

Starting this month (January 2025), Doha Metro has extended its hours to give you more time to travel. Here’s the new schedule:

• Saturday to Thursday: 5am – 1am
• Friday: 9am – 1am

So, whether you’re an early bird or a night owl, you’ve got more flexibility to get where you need to go!

Big Change to the M212 Bus Route

And here’s something important: from Thursday (January 16), the M212 bus route has shifted. It’s now running from Education City Station (Shelter 1) instead of the Al Riffa Mall of Qatar Station. This change will make it easier for passengers heading to and from Education City to catch their bus. So, if you’re used to getting on at Al Riffa Mall, make sure to adjust your plans and hop on at Education City instead.

Lusail tram’s got you covered too!

The Lusail tram is also stepping up its game with better service and improved connections. If you’re a night owl or heading to a late-night event, you’ll love this – the metro will now stay open until midnight on weekdays.
