Sheikha Moza is a dedicated advocate who remains actively involved in her country’s progress. She holds significant leadership roles, including chairing the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development, serving as vice-chair for both the Supreme Council of Health and the Supreme Education Council, and leading the Sidra Medical and Research Centre. In 2003, she took on the role of UNESCO’s Special Envoy for Basic and Higher Education, and in 2008, the UN Secretary-General appointed her as an Ambassador for the Alliance of Civilizations.
