Flights Between Qatar And Bahrain Are Set To Resume On May 25
Flights between the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Bahrain are set to resume on May 25, according to The Civil Aviation Affairs in Bahrain
The resumption of flights comes within the framework of the relations between the 2 brotherly countries. This is major news as Bahrain cut ties with Qatar almost 6 years ago.
Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates cut military and diplomatic ties with the State of Qatar over accusations of supporting extremism in the region
As a result, flights to Qatar were suspended in June/July 2017. Land and sea links were also halted. Qatar rejected the accusations and has been seeking legal options to overturn the blockade
