Hamad International Airport Wins Most Innovative Airport Initiative Award for its High Tech Features
In earning the ‘Most Innovative Airport Initiative Award’ at the Future Travel Experience (FTE) Innovate Awards ceremony, Hamad International Airport (DOH) has once again proven its dedication to innovation and excellence.
The award was given for the effects of HIA’s revolutionary Digital Twin platform on airport administration
The Digital Twin platform, which Hamad International Airport and its business partner SITA implemented, is revolutionising how airports are run by addressing persistent problems and streamlining decision-making procedures.
The platform streamlines complicated data analysis, enabling effective and informed decision-making, and ushering in a new era of operational efficiency through the seamless integration of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
The FTE Innovate Awards are considered as the industry’s preeminent innovation platform and are given out at the concurrent FTE EMEA and FTE Ancillary and Retailing events.
The latest innovation efforts of airports and airlines are highlighted by these historic awards, allowing them to compete head-to-head and highlight their ground-breaking projects.
Each of the qualified applicants received an invitation to present their ideas live on stage in Dublin, where Hamad International Airport triumphed against prestigious rivals.
