Here’s A List Of All The Ramadan Events Happening In Qatar’s Museums
In honour of the Holy Month of Ramadan, Qatar Museums are inviting members of the public to take part in a variety of artistic events for kids and families.
Qatar Museums have a lineup of Ramadan events that will be open to the public
A family day will be held at the Museum of Islamic Art, encouraging families to learn about the practice of prayer and the objects from the MIA that are associated to it.
Here’s what they have in the works:
- a lecture series hosted by the Museum of Islamic Art and The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs
- storytelling and writing sessions by Lusail Museum
- Tales of a Connected World at QM Gallery in Al Riwaq
- photography and zine-creation sessions with Tasweer
- a painting workshop for children at Mathaf
- social media and content creation workshops with Experience Al Jazeera at Fire Station: Artists in Residence
- Liwan Design Studios and Labs will host Liwan for Good, to bring together local charities and artists
